Alabama Supreme Court Upholds Their Decisions – Regarding The Drug Industry
Defective Drugs | March 30, 2010
The Alabama Supreme Court has denied all requests involving a rehearing in Alabama’s Medicaid fraud lawsuits. Alabama requested oral arguments as well as “ruled for the drug companies without issuing an opinion”, but the Court turned down the state’s request once again. “Media reports that the Court had found “no fraud” were incorrect.” The companies were in fact guilty for committing fraudulent acts even though the Court stated that the Alabama as a state knew they were being cheated. There are still many cases at a standstill involving Medicaid fraud, but plans are being made to move forward with each of them.
